Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Talk To Pixels, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including those on the free tier and those who have purchased credits.

2. What Talk To Pixels is

Talk To Pixels is a web-based image editing platform powered by AI. It allows you to upload images and describe edits in natural language. Edits are processed using third-party AI models, primarily Google Gemini, and delivered back to you in the studio.

3. Your account

You sign in using your Google or GitHub account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately via the support page.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or misuse the platform.

4. Credits and payments

Talk To Pixels operates on a prepaid credit model. New accounts receive a small number of free credits on signup. Additional credits can be purchased in packs via Polar, our payment provider.

Credits are deducted when an operation is successfully completed. The credit cost of each operation depends on the AI model and feature used, as described in the studio. Credits never expire. Payments are final subject to the exceptions outlined in our Refund Policy.

5. Your content

You retain full ownership of the images you upload and the edited outputs generated through the service. By uploading an image, you confirm that you have the legal right to use it and to submit it for processing.

You grant Talk To Pixels a limited, temporary licence to store and process your images solely for the purpose of fulfilling your edit request. This licence ends when processing is complete and your images are deleted from our storage.

6. AI-generated outputs

Outputs generated by AI models may not always be accurate, predictable, or suitable for every purpose. You are solely responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before using it commercially or publicly. Talk To Pixels makes no guarantees about the quality or fitness of any generated output.

Ownership of AI-generated outputs may be subject to the terms of the underlying AI providers (Google Gemini, OpenAI). We recommend reviewing their terms if commercial use of outputs is important to you.

7. Prohibited use

You may not use Talk To Pixels to:

  • Upload or generate illegal, harmful, or abusive content
  • Create non-consensual intimate imagery or deepfakes intended to deceive
  • Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform or its APIs
  • Circumvent credit deduction or payment systems
  • Use the service in any way that violates applicable law

Violations may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

8. Third-party services

Talk To Pixels relies on third-party providers including Google Gemini (AI processing), OpenAI (AI processing), ImageKit (image storage), Polar (payments), Supabase (database), and GitHub/Google (authentication). Your use of the service implies acceptance that your content may be transmitted to these providers as necessary to operate the platform. Each provider's own terms and privacy policies apply to their handling of your data.

9. Service availability

We strive to keep Talk To Pixels reliable and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change, be limited, or be discontinued at any time. We are not liable for any losses arising from downtime or service interruptions.

10. Limitation of liability

Talk To Pixels is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude all warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of credits, or loss of business.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
